Are you ready for Round 2!?

It has taken us a lil while to recover from our launch event last summer but we’re beyond thrilled to be back with our second ‘Glug Presents’ event as part of this year’s OFFSITE programme thanks to the hugely supportive team at OFFSET.

To mark our second gathering we’ve invited some of our favourite creative duos to chat about what it’s like working and collaborating as part of a pair. We’ll be hearing from talents including the powerhouse duos behind Red & GreyJill & Gill and It’s Okay as they take us through their work, their processes and their tips for thriving in a creative partnership.

Tickets are free but they are limited so grab yours once we release them... Stay ahead of the ticket drops and other announcements by following @glugdublin on Twitter!

See you there!

Red & Grey is an award winning Dublin design studio offering design strategy, branding and creative design for print and online communications. Since 2003, Bob Gray and Keith McGuinness have been working together using a process that brings together research, clarity, inspiration and design. Bob Gray has worked in design in Dublin and Amsterdam. He is also a lecturer at NCAD. Keith McGuinness has worked with international brands. Previously he worked for Pentagram and Addison in New York. Clients include NCAD, Fáilte Ireland, IMMA, Dublin City Council and Centre Culturel Irlandais.

Jill & Gill is a Dublin based collaborative studio, made up of illustrator Jill Deering and printmaker Gillian Henderson. Established in April 2016 while collaborating on a commission piece together, the two creatives business has grown organically, with collaborative projects and commissions for James Vincent McMorrow, Currabinny, Smirnoff, and Repeal project. The way in which they work is a truly collaborative process, with Jill creating elegant hand-drawn images which they, in turn, produce into screen-prints in Gillian’s Dublin-based studio.

It's Okay is Shauna Buckley and Simon Sweeney. They are designers and coders. They make things when people pay them and a lot of the time even when they don’t. They’re going out so it sometimes means that life and work are the same thing. Also their studio is currently their bedroom. Most of their clients are other creative types that need help putting something out into the world. Right now they’re working with a set designer, an independent Irish festival and an online-only queer club.
